Framework component: Config Decoder

All Algo Modules (and Cheetah Blocks) require configuration to set their runtime settable parameters and deliver commands to them. The Framework Configuration component provides an interface to the host server (or hardware component) which can provide this information, and distributes it on a configuration bus.

The Cofiguration component accepts this data as a byte stream in a datagram format that is compatible with both networking and PCIe bus standards.

The Config component forms part of the Cheetah Framework which provides components to glue Algo Modules together.

The Config component accepts datagrams from a host system and deserialises them into configuration and command signals on a config bus.

These signals are generally applied to all Algo Modules (and also some framework components). The individually addressed block responds appropriately to the configuration setting or command.
